Winter Catasetums - January 2022
A lot of my Catasetums are waking up right now. Seems a bit early, but works for me! I made a video about my Catasetinae, their current growth stage, and how I'm caring for them. Enjoy!

Seems like a lot early risers this year, not just in the southern USA. Amazing how these plants read seasonal cues similarly in many different parts of the world.

I watched your video last night. You always give such great information! Thanks for taking the time to make your videos and for monitoring who needs assistance here on the board. (You've advised me a number of times.)

Sigh... start to wake up? All but one of my five won't go into dormancy at all. I stopped completely watering them mid-December, and they're all just sitting there with green leaves looking at me. They must be confused, and I'm even more confused since this is my first full year of growing them.
Maybe I shouldn't have stopped watering them?
