It is gorgeous! I really like this color in-between the light and dark forms.
Now I am even more impatient for mine to bloom...

A mature plant with male flowers will last 7-10 days. This is a first bloom and it's already starting to die after being fully open for less than a week. The female flowers last a month or more.

I liked that one so much that I bought it twice... one plant is slightly darker than the other, one finished and the other just finishing. My experience on longevity about the same... I think I got a little more time out the one that I have had for 2 years than the one from last year. One thing that drew me to it is that one parent, ' Memoria Pat Worthington' is named for a wonderful grower and also amazing engineer who created outstanding environments for a huge range of orchid species. He also designed amazing show displays for the plants that he and his wife Ginny grew. I have been privileged to know some delightful and fantastic orchid people.

I can see why you're impressed. It's quite stunning. Any scent to the flowers?
