Cycnodes Wine Delight - First Bloom

First time bloom on my Cycnodes Wine Delight that I purchased from Ritter Orchids about 10 months ago. 4 flowers that smell like cherry cough medicine! Yum!

When I first set up my greenhouse, I must not have had things properly vented and the first day out in July sun sent the greenhouse temp to 110F. This plant suffered some pretty bad burn/heat damage and I needed to cut off the smaller bulb. Thankfully the large bulb did quite well afterwards and decided it would bloom for me a few months later! Blooms just opened about on Friday Nov. 19

Beautiful flowers, love the crimson shade. I was very tempted to get this one myself.
