i confess i was a little underwhelmed by these two spikes...a couple flowers blasted and it skipped a whole year of blooming....


fortunately, when i removed the rock moss....five more spikes on the way!!!!

REALLY nice! And both parents really evident. I wonder if it will bloom multiple times a season just based on the parents... C. expansum tends to bloom more than once anyway, and Cl. Rebecca Northen tends to bloom really early, even before leaf growth.

And if there is room on the tag (or make a new one) it has been registered, Clowesetum (Clo.) Rebecca Express
