Default Catasetum Hybrid from Sunset Valley Orchids

I dropped by an orchid seller and he had some Catasetinae hybrids from SVO for sale. I have a few C. maculatum with female flowers open or soon to open that I wanted to see if they might produce viable offspring with some showier flowers. I got 2, one that is in bloom. The tag says it's Ctsm Frilly Doris x Ctsm. Jose Abalo. I liked the flower and it was a pretty healthy looking plant.

The other, Fdk Enter Light x Ctsm. Frilly Doris, is going to bloom soon and had 2 old p-bulbs that died off at the bottom and got keikis higher up that I already separated an mounted on some trees. Looking forward to seeing what it's flowers look like.

Hopefully I have some C. maculatum with female flowers when it blooms. So far I've had pretty good luck with getting Catisetinae to germinate on dead wood that has started to decay slightly. Maybe hybrids will too.
