Catasetum Memoria Dorothy Wells seedling first bloom
The first bloom of this seedling from Sunset Valley Orchids (SVO 8123, Ctsm. Dentigrianum 'SVO Excellence' x Ctsm. Chuck Taylor 'SVO Sunshine') has 18 flowers on the first inflorescence and 14 buds developing on a second inflorescence. It has a faint minty fragrance. If this is what an immature plant produces, I cannot wait to see what a mature plant does.
Thank you to everyone who have shared their experience on this forum and made it easy to get my first catasetum to bloom.

Thank you everyone!
@WaterWitchin: Good luck with yours!
@DeaC: I'm glad you appreciate the blue pot; I actually changed the pot right before I took the picture because I thought it would be nice...

I bought this same cross, as a seedling from this years seedlings listing from SVO. I got excited last week when I saw what I thought was an early flower spike - pretty sure though it's looking like a new growth (too pointy for a flower spike IMO) - still good to see, but the anticipation will be killing me for the next few weeks / months. I'll post back here when I get a spike for comparison.
