first spike is an adventure?!? lol, a few blasted, one is fungal and the rest are beautiful...so far...

i think that it is very under fed and underwatered so i am going to move the mount to be in shell made by two old palm fronds and see if i can get closer to nature with a "pocket" to hold not just moisture but leaf litter and bugs

Love the color! For the "underfed" issue, consider a large pinch of time-release fertilizer. Probably more reliable than bugs...

And I think for your next mount, you need to climb up on top of a telephone pole, and get one going on top of the post, like I've seen pictures of in Brazil. It would be AWESOME!

that picture is my inspiration for all this !!!!!

we dont get quite enough rain in the "monsoon" season so i think that would cook here but i want to replicate that as closely as i can
