i was asked about the way i grow these plants and i guess it is a modified PET method. i use clay pots and mostly inorganic media (leca, lava rock, #4 perlite, charcoal) and whatever yard debris is around, ive used grass clippings, leaf drop, sea grape leaves and palm coir shred. then i use a deep saucer (the kind for containing over watering) and try to keep them topped off so they can always be drinking

here are a few pics

Fakename. I didn’t know about the reboot but the name was a factor in my purchase lol

Isurus- smell is light. Not overpowering. Lemon citrus and sweet with more of a saccharine smell. Like a .05$ candy

That flower is really cool! And I would not be at all surprised if it blooms again in the fall. The Cl. Grace Dunn parent tends to bloom super-early (before growth begins) and a lot of Mormodes bloom in the fall about the time that the plant is going dormant. Now wouldn't THAT be a treat!

I was so sure I would find a chewed up spike and so just making it past lizard gauntlet is a win!!

Oh yes... I forgot to qualify that prediction of another spike... I was assuming that you have a lizard-prevention strategy in place. You don't need another season like last year!
