Gongora tricolor
Greetings -
This is a fairly large species with equally large flowers (for a Gongora). The scent is powerful and heady - creme brulee, banana, cantaloupe, magnolia. Detectable from anywhere in the yard when in bloom.
The plant had 30-ish inflorescences until it was tumbled across the yard in a windstorm - still has a dozen or more. It will bloom throughout the summer. Now the foliage looks like banana after a hurricane.
Regards - Nancy

I just love these guys. The name is perfect too. Sort of a cross between Godzilla and gargoyle, which is exactly how the flowers look to me. Great job, Nancy.
