Great Catasetum growth Male
Default Great Catasetum growth

Hey DC----how's this one?
Notice the Lysol can for contrast (tis the popular product these days unfortunately). That bulb in the front has got to be 3 feet long. It had toppled over on the bench. When I straightened it up I noticed 2 spikes starting so moved it to the porch to protect it from the wildlife.
No idea what it is because I haven't looked at the tag yet.
I'll follow up here when it blooms.

Quick look makes me think I missed seeing a couple of my other ones as they had old dead spikes.

hahahaha, Steve, that made me actually laugh out loud!!

he has BOTH curly tail and iguanas to watch out for...i just cam in from checking traps and looking for fat boys sleeping in the trees.


found a red shouldered hawk dead in my yard...intact, must eaten a poisoned rat or something....shame, but i digress, watch out Keysguy....stay frosty
