I try to follow the SVO guidance and some OB advice: Bottom third of pot is filled with composted horse manure, then top dressed with slow release fert, and copiously watered and often left sitting in water. It's in a south window with direct sun from late morning to early evening. This year's bulb is about 1.5in wide and 7in tall, with 4 older bulbs behind it... It could be that it is only just reaching blooming size, even though it was sold as one year from blooming!

I've got two of these. One bloomed this past March (got an AM on its first bloom!!) and the other is spiking right now. I think it can bloom at any time of year. If mature, my guess for no blooms would be low light.

Congrats on the award!! If low light is the cause, I'll have to stick it outside next summer! What color are yours? Fred writes this in the description: "I think these will be mostly spotted pink flowers, but some will be red, others burgundy and some may be pure white"

Here is the awarded one. I've seen the other one (got it from a friend) and it was very similar looking!

3 spikes on 3 new growths this year. Looks like 54 blooms will happen. Love the lemony fragrance.

Wish all the spikes would have flowered together. Just cut this one with 17 flowers. The next in line has like 27 buds and just noticed a 4th spike coming in. Prolly get 60 flowers all together.

This 3rd spike puts it at 70 blooms. Still one more spike coming in.

4th and final spike puts this at 81 flowers for the season. Not too shabby. Flowers are a bit red due to age.
