An update... My first EVER Ctsm spike! I'm really excited and have fingers, toes, and nose crossed! I've been ignoring them, other than watering, and look what I found...

Here's the whole plant...

None of them are still as fat or tall as the past year's pbulb. Must be some sort of adjustment phase. But I'll take one spiking for the win!

---------- Post added at 10:27 AM ---------- Previous post was at 10:24 AM ----------

PS Can't remember how many I had in straight semi-hydro, but somewhere along the line I dumped out some of the top LECA and replaced with about an inch or two of sphag. Otherwise, they weren't rolling on the watering schedule everything else was.

Adapt, conform, adjust and reconcile!

Woohoo! What is the name of the plant? There's still plenty of growing season left, so those bulbs could certainly get bigger.

I actually have labels! I'll have to check.

I think I have one Catasetum that has lost a few leaves, but most of the group are in full leaf and still growing, pseudobulbs on many not yet fat. I won't see serious dormancy starting to set in until November or December.
