Catasetum tenebrosum x callosum is a new primary hybrid from Fred Clarke. This is a first bloom and I have to say I’m pretty excited! Absolutely beautiful!

That's a really interesting shape and I like the dark and broody colouring.

KaBOOM...what an interesting bloom. Saw the nice hanging apparatus from your YouTube video. Making great use of household items.

i would also like to see the setup there, appears to be smallish hanging pots?

also, what are those fat buds peeking into the first pic on the top left??

I'm so jealous!! This is the plant that I have said is behind. Now that spike has died on me.

Great looking flower. Guess I will have to wait until fall for mine.

I have the same, my bloom only lasted two weeks. Slight spicy fragrance. Second spike coming now

Its in a small water container cut in half, maybe 3" wide?

Shoot, I'll have to point you to a video again for the setup! I actually did a show and tell of all my Catasetums this past weekend! YouTube
