5% of alcohol in volume of solution. I use ethilic alcohol which is the most common around here. I believe in the USA the most comon is not this one~
Anyway, 5% is always a good percentage.
About the catasetinae I really can't give you any advice as I have never grown any.

As Dolly said, imidacloprid is not effective to erradicate them. Regarding Bayer 3-in-1, mites develop resistance if you use always the same product. As in many other crops, it is always a good practice to switch between different products.
But for mites, the best chemical option is a miticide which here are controlled substances (means you can't buy and apply them unless you are certified by the government to do that).
