Thanks for explaining the growing conditions. One comment from this is ----- just to take a look at the bathroom conditions. Is it relatively still-air environment? For orchid growing in general - one beneficial condition is good air-flow. Good aeration around the whole plant - leaves, roots/media and all.

I did suffer a mite attack, summers are extremely dry here in Italy, but this plant was not involved. I cannot see signs of bugs/mites on it. Maybe the problem could be S/H. The other catas appreciated it but they were bigger, she too tiny to be put in a bottle with leca and dry environment. WhenI say I have mistaken to dry it too soon I mean thet I should have put it a vase with sphag and bark giving water when necessary. Having a reservoire in dry conditions and still ar have prevented her from growing. Her roots are tiny and fragile. Those of the other catas, even the ones which suffered from the mites attack, are fat and long. Not to speak of the p/b. I have simply misled this plant.

That's ok Paola! Check the roots anyway - to see if they're ok. And see how this little one goes. Finger's crossed anyway. Maybe it might even put out another tiny growth. At least you're doing all you can for it, and you're caring about it, which is great

Happy new year to you too!
