Oh man, sooo jealous! Have 2 of these but no bloom yet. Keeping them as warm as they seem to want is bit of an issue but I'm eager to do well. Have had luck with the Stans and I covet anything that that spikes over the edge or underneath the pot. Good 4 U!

Tagging along, here. Just received a very nice Coryanthes macrantha with a spike and 2 buds; super happy! How does this tent placement seem? Not getting any direct light from the fixtures.

I am neither an expert in this genus (more of a beginner with Coryanthes) nor do I grow using artificial light and grow tents. That being said, I grew mine in a hanging net pot of full sphagnum moss that was kept constantly "damp" but not soggy. Very rarely did the moss ever dry out. Grown outside so air flow is no issue and the humidity is normally around 80%-90%. Temp range from the low 70s F at night to the mid 90s F during the day/summer. Light level was pretty bright but no direct sunlight.

It is hard to tell how your tent placement is in those photos. The photos make it appear very shaded inside that tent. For comparison, mine was receiving the same level of light that my cattleya's receive.

Thanks for the input, Bro! Yeah, it’s tough to get a good pic in there but it is shadier up high and away from the lights. I think I’ll move it closer to the fixtures and lower it a bit so it catches some peripheral rays but no direct light.
