From Chapman’s Orchids and Exotic Plants in central Florida. If memory serves me they are not open to the public but they go to events from time to time and sell some of their plants. I’ve gotten several different types of dendrobiums (aggregatum, primulinum) from them as well as some brassavolas and bulbophyllums. Not positive on the exact bulb. species but the brassavola were “lady of the night” and yellow bird.
Both are beautiful but, good lord, the sanguieum cross is unbelievable! The shape with the color combo are striking and makes it look like a dragon. I banned myself from buying anymore Catasetums this year but I would jump on that cross if I saw it
Thanks! I am loving it as well and the aroma, it’s a spicy citrus aroma. I have 3 total catasetums, the two posted here and a catasetum pileatum. Although the pileatum either skipped a bloom this year or is going to bloom late.
