Bulbophyllum ipanemense
Here’s an interesting Bulbo that grows in the wild in the States of Minas Gerais, Bahia and Espirito Santo in Brazil. I am not sure whether or not it grows in the State of Rio de Janeiro, but its name is a reference to the famous Ipanema beach!

WOW!That's a beautifull one... and you are growing it mounted on a chocolate bar... cool!
lovely Garota de Ipanema!
(to be honest, I did not know we had Bulbos in south america... always thought they were asian plants)

Ramón, Bulbos are pan-tropical plants, they occur in almost all countries located in the tropical or subtropical zones ![Very Happy](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/icon_biggrin.gif)

It's very pretty. I like bulbos even in spite of the smell of some of them.
Ipanema. The name brings back memories of the sun burn I got in Rio. It was long ago but the memory sitll clings....not comfortable.

Very cool!
I just got one of these from a friend and was unaware of how neat the flower will be.
Thanks for sharing your, as usual, great photos.
