Echinolabium spike or growth???
Default Echinolabium spike or growth???

Ok so i figured id piggyback on Cambriawhat's post and ask about this growth on my echinolabium since we both have the same exact growth going on. What is it?? Im really confused. Its bugging me because i can see something inside the sheath and idk if it looks like a leaf or not but it's really plump. Help??

Someone on YouTube told me it's too wide to be a spike; that a spike would be much narrower.

It's extremely frustrating because there is not a photo of a developing spike on this plant anywhere on the whole internet!!

Time will tell...

I've grown these for many years and that can be a spike as it's the right season. Fingers crossed!
