I have mine at probably a little less than cattleya light. I have mine in full sun now (cattleyas, phrags, and also dendrobiums too, because it is still cool and there is a lot of wind. By noon I shift them to the shade because I can see them starting to get sun dappled. You can see the leaves going a bit yellow-- you know, lightening up a bit. I thought that orchids (or most orchids) liked to be that sort of light chartreuse green, not dark green, and that will come from raising light levels.
Sadly I do not own the copyright to the pictures on the internet, so I am not going to post other people's pictures here, but if you google bulbophyllum in nature, or orchids in nature, you will see nearly yellow leaves. This does not meal "All" bulbophylums or orchids. I just think that a house will not give adequate light without some supplemental lighting.
