Bulbo. Santa Clause
This growing in a mix of sphagnum moss and coarse perlite, like all my bulbophyllum and is grown under lights. There are 3 more spikes developing.
The flowers are 6 1/2 " from top to bottom. If you get close to the flowers they stink.

Really very nice! Similar to my Buckleberry and Doris Dukes that just finished. A genus I'm fond of at any smelly cost!

That's great, what a floriferous hybrid... always bloom that much? How close is it to the lights?
The name kills me, especially considering it's for a bulbo of all things...

The bulbos are hung on the sides of the shelves of the light racks. The temp. ranges from 55* at night to about 75* during the day. The lights are on a 12 hour cycle.
Here is a photo.

As the first blooms fade after 2 weeks the others are now open.
