Bulbophyllum hirundinis
This has always been a very "fast" growing orchid for me. In fact, it is one of my first non-lepanthes orchids. It was crazy to see the root growth in this species. Even the flowers. Heck...I should have easily done a time lapse with this. Flowers opened in the span of hours to a single day once the spike was fully grown.
Anyways...a beautiful beautiful garland of flowers. My first ever bulbophyllum flowering. And so cute too.

How unique and exotic! Wow, seems a good orchid for impatient growers like me. Does it smell ok?

Do you grow in mounted or in a basket?
What are your conditions for hirundinis?
Are you going it on the warm conditions?

Ha! A lot of bulbophyllums are notorious for smelling like things that flies like to eat... blech. Glad yours is not offensive

It is growing in intermediate conditions mounted on the bark flat it came with a lot of air movement. It is in an open tank..but there is the vent for the central air conditioning right above the tank...so the plants are constantly (multiple times a day) being exposed to this breeze. I mist/water them at least once to twice daily.
