Default Possible spike on Cirr Fascinator

This little guy showed up about a week ago and has been growing rapidly since this is my first bulb/cirr so no I am not experienced enough to judge yet

Hmm, it kind of looks like a new bulb to me. Fatter and wider than I'd expect for a spike. But I only have one bulbophyllum, so my experience is very limited.

Looks like a new pseudobulb, spikes are very thin

May I ask how long it took your bulbo to adjust to the new environment? I got a fascinator from Andys at end of July and mounted it afterward. So far it has done nothing. No new growth and no new roots that I can see

I grow my bulbos in pots mostly, very wet. The ones I have mounted take forever to start growing. lay your mount in a saucer and fill it with water once a week and see if it doesn't start growing. Daily misting doesn't seem to be enough moisture. Of course I'm in Florida at 90 degrees right now. Might be different where you are.

That is definitely a new bulb. Cirrhopetalum spikes are much thinner and almost unnoticeable.
