Yea, it looks happy but the blooming lasted exactly 11 days from bud to death. Too bad.

I agree that is the worse part, I have a couple that last only about 2-3 days.

My Echinocereus brandegeei (cactus) bloomed yesterday for one day and I missed it. This plant almost never blooms in captivity. The last two times it's bloomed I've been at the cactus society convention and missed it. The dead shriveled flower is flamingo pink when you tear it apart.
