Bulbophyllum arfakianum var. alba
Got this in February and never thought it would bloom this soon, I did not even notice the flowers until the first one was almost open, it blended in so well with the leaves of the plant. Extremely happy with my surprise! ![Big Grin](http://www.orchidboard.com/community/images/smilies/new/biggrin2.gif) bump

In the thumbnail I thought the blooms looked like chameleons. Weird and wonderful.

Carol,
So far have not noticed any odor, but then I normally don't wake up early to see.

Many of the "Bulbophyllum arfakianum var. alba" being sold are actually a hybrid : Bulbophyllum Hsinying Grand-arfa = (grandiflorum x arfakianum).

Although the flowers lack the usual colouring of the normal form, it cannot be considered at alba as that by definition means lack of any purple/red pigments. More aptly called quasi alba or albescent.
