I have this NOID bulbo in my terrarium. Slowly, the pseudobulbs have been turning pink, and I am wondering what the reason might be. I think it's receiving too much light, but I am not sure. It is sending out what looks like a spike, but I'd much rather prefer roots/new rhizome.
I suspect it's from high light levels (not necessarily too much, but at the high end for this plant), but I also don't grow Bulbos ... Hopefully some Bulbo growers will chime in!
Thank you everyone for chiming in. I had sent the same pictures to Andy from andysorchids and he was kind enough to reply. Big shout-out to him!! He said that the coloration does indicate that the plant is receiving high amounts of light, however it actually is a good sign. Consequently, I will not be moving the plant, and hope that the "spike" will develop so I can ID this bad boy!
