I have my eye one on this plant and I would like to know if it is worth buying it, and what is some of the care tips for this plant. I don't want to buy it and then it dies in the first few months because it is really expensive. Happy growing!

How much room do you have? The leaves grow to be about 5 to 6 feet long when they are fully mature, and they hang pendulously. They are really large.

The flowers stink like dog poop. Granted you have to be close to the flowers to smell the odor, it still smells bad.

They grow in moderately bright to bright indirect light.

Intermediate to warm growing.

If you got these conditions, and you know what you're getting yourself into, then they shouldn't be terribly difficult to grow.

I forgot…

They're also somewhat slow growing.

No problem.

I should mention they also bloom at a smaller size than 5 - 6 feet.

I asked Plantae orchids what the size of the leaf would be, the plant is flowering sized and its leaf span is 25cm. It is also expensive R400(about $40)

That doesn't sound expensive for a blooming sized plant of Bulb. Phal.
