Does this one grow like a normal bulbo? (warm, bright, with consistent moisture?) Anyways, the flowers smell like smoked meat, just like what others have said. It did lose its fragrance when I put it in the house. I'm planning to repot it after it blooms but it seems hard to do so with most of the plant hanging off the side of the basket. Three more flowers are coming up so stay tuned.

According to the IOSPE, they are pretty temperature tolerant, (collected at 200 m - 2,000 m).

You can try growing it outdoors here in SoCal year round.

I might try growing one outdoors some time down the line.

All my Bulbos grow outdoors year round, (I picked the ones that are temperature tolerant).

That Bulbophyllum monanthum I posted about - that's outdoors and doing great, and it is in the same section as Bulb lobbii - Section Sestochilos. So not all Bulbos in Section Sestochilos are intermediate to warm growing.

Default It bloomed AGAIN

Well guys, it's been only four months since I received this orchid and I have to say that I am VERY impressed. It tried to put out FOUR new buds but two of them rotted due to cold temperatures combined with moist conditions. The flowers are actually larger than when I bought it from Andy's and have lasted for more than 2 weeks already. It's starting to grow as well and I'll repot it right after the blooms are finished. The second picture shows the area I grow it in.
