This is a Bulbophyllum that I received from the late Wilbur Chang. I am surprised by the length of the petals (I assume the long strings are petals). The flowers are eye-catching. There is a second stem of flowers that is not yet mature. The plant is growing in a 4-inch plastic basket with New Zealand Sphagnum Moss as the media. The plant is grown under 50% shade. It is watered daily.

Wonderful! I bought one at our local society show in May and to my surprise it bloomed last month with two flower clusters of 8-9 flowers each (don't know exactly how the flowers are described in bulbos like this). I measured the petals at 10-11 inches. Yours look a little longer than mine. I was very pleased for a first bloom.
