Am I ok, this time of year to be repotting some recently acquired bulbos? I would assume so because most of them have new roots and new growth. Thanks for you opinions.
I always figure that it is better to repot than to leave them in something that will kill the roots. If there are green growing tips it should be just fine. I like to mount my bulbos.
I grow bulbos both potted and mounted. The only thing to remember is that they don't like to have their roots disturbed. So handle them as little as possible. in all likelihood, they will sulk a little bit after repotting, but then be much happier in the end.
Mounted ones do require some attention to make sure they don't dry out too much.
