Bulbophyllum Echinolabium in Bloom
I thought I'd share my Bulbophyllum Echinolabium in bloom. He's got two spikes....had three but one blasted for some reason.
He's a smelly guy! It's not really strong but does smell like rotten rat. He just opened today so I'm not sure if he'll get stronger or not.

Thanks Sonya! I did notice that his stench is a bit stronger today.  It's still tolerable though and not like I have to remove him from the immediate area. Yet.  |

Cambria, thank you! I really didn't do anything though and I have no big secret either. I kept him in a tray of water with weak fertilizer. I water him with RO water and MSU. Once a month or so I gave him some Kelp and some Mag. The only thing I did do differently was moving him to the same bench where I grow Cattleyas. There, he got considerably more light and immediately began to create new growth and three spikes.
