3 days ago in spike.

Yesterday in bloom

And today the petals all dropped. The others are still in spike but I think I will miss them as I am travelling.

Hi Debra Soon, on orchidspecies.com they mention that it is native to Thailand, Myanmar and the island of Java, Borneo and Sumatra in lowland and lower montane forests on tree trunks and tree branches, often overhanging water.

It also mentions that this species grows well in pots with hot temperatures, deep shade and need ample moisture.

Thanks for posting, I love it.
You are lucky to be living close to these environments. I would be in heaven walking through the forests.

I love this plant! Such a bummer that the flowers only lasted for a short time though.
