Default Bulbophyllum Echinolabium

Three spikes and a new bulb! I'm so excited but I hear it takes forever to get to flowers. Any comments on that?

Congratulations! I just received one today. I would be happy to learn any culture tips you may have to share!

Thank you Cambria! Your new Bulbi is so, so nice!

Mine likes a lot of water! I use MSU weakly to keep it that way and once a week let him sit in a tray of water for a few days. He seems to really like that.

The spikes arrived right after I increased the light to Catt levels. (apparently he liked that too!)

Once or twice a month I give it Kelp....and I also squeeze in some Magnesium here and there, with plain water.

I think increasing the light levels initiated the spikes.

Good luck with yours! It's beautiful. I just love this bulbophyllum!

I noticed you had it next to those Catts. Apparently light is the key!

Thanks for your fertilizer and watering advice. I love this plant too, can't wait to see your flowers...and maybe one day, my own!
