Yes, it is a flower spike= it is a mitten shaped growth by the side of the bulb....my plant grows new bulbs by extension; but this is a growth coming out from the bulb itself.

Nothing happened. Growing stopped. Actual condition is same as on latest picture. Anyway thanks for your interest.
