Bulbophyllum Louis Sander
This is an old cross made more than 70 years ago. The plant flowers 2-3 times per year. It is growing in a 4-inch plastic pot with New Zealand Sphagnum Moss as the media. The plant is kept damp (misted daily) and fertilized weekly. The flowers have an unpleasant fragrance.

I'm a small backyard grower in a residential area overlooking Pearl Harbor. I barely have enough yard space to keep my orchids happy. Most of the photographs that I post on this Board are of plants that I raised and bloomed. My best friends are orchid people.

Is the color brown and white,? haven't seen this before. Nice form, good size blooms.

I would say the color is more a yellowish background with reddish brown (maroon) dots forming stripes.
