Bulbophyllum lasiochilum in bloom!
Everyone probably knows already I love Bulbos! This guy has really one of the nicest Bulbo blooms! I love the shape and the color. I do grow lasiochilum in plastic basket, in bright indirect light, using small bark and sphagnum mix, keeping it constantly moist and fertilizing weakly some 2 times a month. It has 3 spikes at this time!

Very pretty - I have the dark form but really prefer your lighter version.

Love the flowers on this one! I also love that you include images of the entire plant when you post pictures of your orchids. I like to see the entire plant before making a decision to add it to my wish list. This one is very cute!
Does it have a fragrance at all?
Is this a warm temperature loving variety? I'm just getting into the idea of keeping bulbos, but don't feel that I could do that well with the hot to warm loving plants without having a terrarium for them. Even some of my cooler growing plants (I'm glaring at my dendrobium cuthbertsonii as I type this) I'm considering a terrarium for.

Thanks RandomGemini. Yes, I am actually getting mostly only worm to hot growing species, some intermediate, but since I am growing everything outside it is pretty much must for me. I know many members though here growing Bulbophyllums pretty much around your zone with success, so I would try some. Also, try to go to Andy's website, and narrow your search by the temperature you are looking for, and see what Bulbos will show up:-) This one is really cute, not sure how old is this plant, I have it for less than a year now:-)
