Bulb. medusae season
One of my favorite Bulbos is now blooming. These six blooms are about finished but it has five more spikes to go.
Bulb medusae JCL_1935 by kentucky4, on Flickr
It is growing in a 6" plastic vanda basket, sits in a saucer of water (except when blooming) in Catt light. When the spikes start appearing I hang it to get the best display of the dangling blooms.

Brook, this is absolutely my favorite bulbo, and your plant is amazing, I haven't had yet more than 3 spikes opened at the same time! Gorgeous, really amazing!

I think mine is too young....it's a little bitty guy. Brook, how long have you had yours? Was it young (and little) when you got it? When was it's first bloom?
I have to say that your plant AND the photography is stunning!

I have seen pictures of this plant on ebay, but never one in bloom to this magnitude. Its beautiful! The strands that come down are so neat looking! This may have to go on my list...
