This plant is endemic to Africa so you must give it warmth and brightness....altho it says to give it hot to cold temperature, but you are giving it good humidity and moisture and maintain it evenly moist at all times= in fact you can put a saucer with pebbles under the pot with water and when the water runs dry its time to drench the pot under the sink....feed it weekly weakly fertilizer.
If you give it warmth and bright light it will give you coconut scented flowers.

your plant has a couple of seed pods....are you ready to flask it after 8 months? better think ahead your mother plant is going to burst some babies and thousands of them!

I have seen it in my dead bulbophyllum in my questionable days of a newbie. I kept my too dry. And your moss and bulbo's roots looks like it is very dry.

Most Bulbos grow better mounted.

If you must grow potted, use a wood slat basket or a net pot.

yes they are in net baskets now with 1/2 to 3/4 of leca in bottom and moss on the top for moisture and I do have some wood baskets but I was trying to let them grow a little or get a little more established before moving them at least thats what I think I could be wrong the leca and moss seem to work theres plenty of air so they get watered every other day and that keeps them moist buy not soggy any comments or suggestions are always welcome the more the better
