Got it from a Girl that gave up her 400+ orchids away-she got bored with them in Jan 2012)
Anyway-i hang it on East facing Window-the spot it was in gets Sun till 10 AM-it grow-but no flowers
This Jan 2013-I put it under a 2' T5 along with my mimi Phal's-it's growing like crazy-but-no Flowers so far either.I water it every Morning and once a Week i put it in water with VERY light Fert.and Kelp.
Any body grow this one? Any Advise for me?I never had Bulbo's before-now i got 4 and none of them making Flowers-they grow-but thats all.

not much data in Bakers culture sheet.
Basically they say grow 58-75f in dappled conditions. There is a photo supplied by Andy's Orchids in OrchidWiz but I see its not for sale on the website.
Hopefully someone who grows this can give you more specific detail.

Monika...I looked at the picture, & if it were mine, I'd try giving it slightly more light. It's difficult to go by Internet pictures, but the leaves look a little dark to me. This is of course, what I do when an orchid won't bloom...BettyE

I agree with Betty but will also point out that sometimes Bulbos actually need to be massive size before they bloom. I've got three or four where I grew great foliage, or it would spit out a singleton bloom and then they finally produce multiple blooms all over the plant.

Don't give up - increase the light and keep it moist.

Brooke

Sometimes with Bulbos, it is also a temperature differential between day and night, and seasons.

It needs pretty bright light and to be constantly moist. I grow this and other similar bulbo species in very bright light, Cattleya levels.
