Default Bulbophyllum maquilingense in my frog viv

I have seven orchids in my dart frog viv, and this bulbo is doing the best by far.

This plant flowers like crazy, which is a good thing since each flower only lasts 2-3 days. Each spike only holds one flower. Since it was planted on 3.19.12 the plant has added four new leaves, and sent up 17 flowers!

The flowers are about half an inch square. The dorsal sepal (I think) is large and hood shaped. The lateral sepals (?) are small, narrow, and hang vertically from the back of the hood. The lip is a little smaller than the sepals and hangs between the lateral sepals. The whole flower reminds me of a cobra head.

An odd thing, and kinda annoying, is that the flowers open and close throughout the day. Usually they are open from about 10am to 6pm but sometimes open/close later or earlier. I haven't been able to detect a scent to the flowers.

I divided the plant two weeks ago so I have one outside the viv and can look at it better. When that one flowers I'll get up some better pics.

That is very cool. Pretty strange that it opens and closes too.
