Yup...I built it in my unfinished basement out of a lumber frame and shower curtains....kinda like a giant shower stall with a table in the middle and plastic sheeting pulled over the top. I hung a HO T5 light in there, added a fan and ultrasonic humidifier...and filled it with plants.

Currently there are a over a dozen species of Nepenthes, half a dozen Heliamphora species and hybrids (the tall pink flowers in the center) a dozen or so mexican pingucula (off to the left in the tray) 4Utricularia species, a few ferns, sphagnum moss, Brochinia reducta, a few Drosera species, Bulbophyllum plumatum, Bifranaria tyrianthina, and Cattleya percivilliana.

Nice collection!! If I had that I would grow all those you said and would try to add some tropical Rhodies or the smallest neotropical blueberries. Very jelous.

Reviving this thread instead of starting a new one as I'm currently experimenting to confirm which will go down to 45f/7c.

So far the obvious ones most grow cool
B. affine
B. ambrosia
B. rothschildianum
B. odoratissimum

Also
B. crassipes
B. mirum
B. longibracteatum
B. lasiochilum
B. fascinator
B. chrysendentum
B. sigaldiae
B. sikkimensis
B. concinnum

the aussie natives:
B. sheperdii
B. exiguum
B. elisiae
B. macphersonnii
B. bracteatum
B. schillerianum

I can tell you B sanguineopunctatum, B. lindleyaum and B. patens do not grow cool for me.

I'll continue to update as I go through the collection and confirm. If you've had success in cooler conditions please feel free to add.
