That's typically at elevations above 3000 meters...I'm looking for stuff that grows anywhere from 1000 -2500 meters above sea level. Temps in this zone are usually in the 50's at night and 70's in the day. Many orchids supposedly grow there...including a ton of Bulbo species.

Not necessarily from those countries but check out Bulbophyllum tentaculiferum and alkmaarense. Those two are awesome species that can grow cool.

I think many of the PNG bulbo species are cool-tolerant or obligate cool growers, depending on altitude. I don't grow any and they're not always easy to locate, but there are some really nice ones along the lines of what goods recommended. Andy's is probably a good place to start for those groups of species, if you call he may have more that aren't listed on the website.
Taiwan has some interesting IC species, hirundinis is a really spectacular mini that I think likes that temp range; setaceum is also doing well for me with current night temps into the upper 50s. I haven't ever seen many of the Philippine species around, though I think Purificacion Orchids sometimes comes to shows in the US.
Finally, rothschildianum and longissimum both seem to tolerate cool temps just fine.

Hapalochilus alkmaarensis does not do well cool. They do better in intermediate conditions. This species is also intolerant of humidity that dips lower than 60%.
Many orchids from PNG are finicky about low humidity.
PNG Bulbos such as Bulb macrochilum and Bulb septemtrionale among some of them are terrible beginner's Bulbos, btw. Just a heads up.
Sunipia bicolor does better grown intermediate. They drop leaves when it gets below 55 F.
Note: Do not confuse Sunipia bicolor with Ione bicolor. They are 2 different plants altogether! Both Ione bicolor and Sunipia bicolor are both in the Bulbophyllum complex. Ione bicolor does grow cool.
Bulbophyllum sulawesii will grow cool, but you have to take care not to over water during the winter months.
Bulbophyllum odoratissimum will grow cool.
Bulb psychoon will grow cool.
Bulb sanguineopunctatus will grow cool.
There are a few others, but I'll let you search them out on your own...
There are far more cool growing species that originate from Taiwan or Japan, as was stated earlier.

If you are serious about bulbos, you should invest in Emly Seigerist's book Bulbophyllums and their Allies - I have the book and I think it is organized very well.

I can definitely provide high humidity..daytime humidity in my cool chamber typically hovers around 73% or so, with 80% at night. This is what it looks like in there right now...
