You mean Bulb. sp. 'Rosary Beads' from Tropical Orchid Farm?

If this is the one, I've grown it, but have never grown it long enough to see blooms. So I have no idea what the blooms look like (although I have a hunch as to what it may look like).

I think there's a strong possibility that this species may be Bulb. membranaceum, idk. If it is, it would explain why photos of the flowers are difficult to find - (because they're tiny).

First off, if you don't currently own this plant, it is a miniature. Each pseudobulb is about 1/4" in diameter.

They grow in intermediate temperatures.

They prefer bright shade.

Each pseudobulb does not produce very many roots.

Imo, they are not the hardiest of Bulbophyllum species to grow, but they're not the most difficult to grow either. There are definitely hardier ones to grow.

I picked this one up from Al's a few weeks back. He's been growing it for years and never saw blooms. He also had one from Black Jungle that was given to him recently. The black jungle description said "rosary beads yellow". I keep checking mine closely. I'll be sure to post pics when I see blooms. I also suspect that the flower will be very tiny and easy to miss. Probably the reason there are no pics online.

Thanks both of you for the tips. King you are right, I looked up that name and sure enough that is what I have. Fish, I did find pics of it under that name when I looked. They are tiny but think I could still see them, said they are about 1/4 of an inch, the color was a reddish yellow orange. Thanks again for the help... Jean

You won't know until you see the flowers. If you have flowers please post pictures of them.

I got my plant (which is now covering many many 4 x 6 inch tree fern plaques) from Tropical orchid farm. It has grown larger for many years but I have never seen it flower. Today, I noticed most of the plants are covered in tiny creamy white flowers. In a close up, they are cream with yellow tips and very faint spotting. The flowers most close resemble Bulbophyllum alagense Ames, Philipp. J. Sci., C 2: 333 (1907) It does not look like Bulbo membranaceum. (The forum software forbids me from posting a link to the picture on my website. But pictures of it exist now if you know where to look.)

Same Same. I just noticed mine yesterday. I'll be sure to post pics when they open. Probably in the next couple days or so.
