I have the new and improved non-stinky ones...fresh from flask 7 mos ago...I wouldnt have a clue if its true; but that is what the flasker told me...it will take 4 more years before my plant blooms...
I havent smelled this one in action but you all are wimps if you go for the non-stinky ones, joking. Thats one of the fun parts. Try an Amorphophallus konjac on a nice sunny day. Nothing beats that in my opinion.
I've smelled one group of these in bloom at a local nursery, and it will be the last time for me. I couldn't hide that in the toilet. But, I wish any who do grow them much luck.
I absolutely love bulbos. It seems that most of my collection has turned into bulbos. My first bulbo was supposed to be a Bulbophyllum fascinator, but everything about the plant tells me it isn't. Guess I'll have to wait until it blooms.
My Bulbohyllum Louis sander is in bloom now. The blooms just opened yesterday. I think they smell like papertowels. I know that's weird, but it's true. I also have a vaginatum in spike. Can't wait to see the blooms.
I will make a new post for the Louis sander a little bit later after I get settled in for the night. I will post the vaginatum blooms when it blooms. Hopefully soon.
