Default Bulbophyllum Melting Point
Bulbophyllum Melting Point ((Doris Dukes 'Bill's Best' AM/AOS X longissimum 'Windy Hill', 2000). First blooming for me after a year and a half. Tallest bloom is 9", 3 spikes.

You had it right the first time !!! You have to have an attraction to the unusual to appreciate Bulbs !!! The first one I got did it for me. I call it my "duck plant", see pix it's burfordiense !!!

Thanks, all ! You know what I don't get is how they ever called those parts "lips" !!! Obviously they never saw a Bulbophyllum while they were involved in the orchid parts naming process !!! Those are tongues if I ever saw one !!!
