I agree it is more work but, for some of us, we like to have a central place to store pictures so others may view them at their leisure or to include in a different post at a later time. It is nice not to have to clutter my hard drive or a backup drive with picture files. I keep the originals elsewhere so if the website crashes, I always have something. I, for one, do not copyright or watermark my pictures; not that they are all that good. I don't care if others use them for various purposes. I do hope they would show me proper respect and ask to use them but it is what it is. I've never said "No" to anyone who wants to use one of my posted pictures.

I agree with all the above. Just give credit to me or the photographer who took the photograph.

I have PaintShopPro 7 and it's really easy and quick to resize photos. I usually make them not larger than 500 pixels in width for posting up to various forums or websites.

Thanks for all the advice on how to post. I went out to the greenhouse this morning and saw that the rest of the flowers on cootesii had opened up. I snapped a couple of photos to share with you all, they aren't the best but they'll do. Enjoy! Jason
