Bulbophyllum catenulatum (in bloom)
This is the smallest orchid in my collection. I managed to successfully grow it mounted in spite of the fungi and algae infestations...it is blooming! I have to invest on a digital camera; my iPhone cant capture the tiny buds and flower opening...it has only a couple of days until the flower drops this bloom has a short life span but it is a beauty.

It looks like it has some nice colours and I love the fact that it is so small. I am assuimg you kept this one very wet and with a low amount of air circulation (hense the fungus and algae problems)? Are you growing this inside a terrarium?

Thanks Tindomul ! It is hanging in my bathroom window but I took it outside to the groundfloor at the back of my apt building for a photo with the tree on the street as backdrop...
my other plants on S/H have algae and fungi and it might have caught it from them...its being controlled now.
Its still warm out and no frost... the bathroom window is slightly open to get the air circulating

Ohhhhh!!! Semi/Hydro, ok then.
I just put my first bulbo into S/H the other day. Its a cutting from another and this particular cutting had lots of healthy roots but the leaf was under attack from mites. I cleaned the leaf and figured I had nothing to loose. I hope I get it to bloom. I have such a hard time blooming Bulbos.

Me too...maybe we need to let them mature more and produce more pbulbs...once I manage to make one bloom...it keeps on blooming...so I have no complaints

Wow Bud! look at the amount of spikes it's putting out! would be fantastic to see indeed. I have a soft spot for small intricate bulbophyllums.
