Bulbophyllum plumatum
Well my reliable Bulbophyllum is enjoying the summer breeze hanging out under the oak tree. I've posted pictures of this flower on a number of occasions in the past. It is difficult to capture a good picture because of the length of the petals and with the wind blowing today makes it even more difficult.

That looks so incredible hanging like that!
(I know what you mean about the frustration of good pics - my bulb. rothschildianum has just re-bloomed, but I haven't been able to get a decent pic to put up at all)

No not really.... However, many orchids may have a particular fragrance at different times of the day

Hmmm . . . Good to know! Little fragrance . . . nice flowers . . . And relatively compact growth habit . . . This one might have to go on the list!

Very nice, Howard! Looks like you have Bulbo cultivation well under control.

This one is certainly looking good, do you grow this outdoors in summer?

Yes, all my Bulbos are hanging out on the deck under my oak tree. With September just around the corner and cooler weather, they will all be going back into the greenhouse.
