Default Bulb hirundinis 'OW Glen Gary' CBR/AOS
A friend and fellow Orchid Board member, Laura N, just received a Certificate of Botanical Recognition award from the AOS for her Bulb hirundinis. She was kind enough to honor me with the clonal name she has given it. The plant is now officially Bulb. hirundinis 'OW Glen Gary' CBR/AOS

Here are a few pix, it's a miniature and is as cute as can be. Thanks, Laura.

Glen I haven't logged on here in forever! Thanks for posting our award
Bill Thoms is done with the pollen collection so I should get the plant back this Wednesday at judging.

Congratulations on the award, Laura and Glen! Is Bill outcrossing within the species or making hybrids? Either way very cool, this is my favorite cirrhopetaloid bulbo and it has tremendous potential as a hybrid parent.
