Cirr. umbellatum
The plant is in a 2-inch clay pot with New Zealand sphagnum as the media. The flowers only last for 1-2 days.

Oh wow! what a shame that they don't last for very long - does it flower frequently to make up for it or not?

Beautiful flowers and a very healthy bulbo! Good job!
I wish the flowers lasted longer, too, but the ephemeral quality kind of adds to their beauty, imo. And a happy bulbo can bloom several times a year, depending on the species.

The plants bloom 2-3 times per year. They are fast growers and can make specimen plants with numerous flower spikes. Unfortunately you will enjoy the display of flowers for only a short time.
